On my trip to the Bromo Vulcano area at the Indonesian island of Java, I was overwhelmed by the serene atmosphere during the earliest morning hours. The local people with their horses and the tourists gather around the huge crater for a visit during the dawn. The fog, dust and morning sun enlighten the caravans on their way to the craters' rim. A spectacle in a mystic scenery. The temple as remarkable historic building, set in a surreal landscape. The whole scenery reminds me of old, oil-paintings of happenings in past ages. The sepiagolden-colors and the tiny people, like painted dots,  captured in this single moment, as if no modern age exists.
